Osiris works best on a laptop or computer using either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
If you did not use the pre-registration period to submit your preferences for an elective module, you must enroll in a module during week 2 prior to the block in which the module takes place. You can only choose from modules that still have available spots.
This instruction shows you how to enroll in an elective module."
Go to osirisstudent.avans.nl and log in.
Click on the three stripes (hamburger button) in the left top corner to open the menu bar and click on ‘Enrol'.
Click on ‘Course’.
In the next window you can search for the module you would like to register for.
To register for an Avans elective, you need to adjust the filters.
Uncheck 'Only from my regular programme'.
Then select the correct academic year, starting block and Elective?.
You can also use one of the other filters.
If you only want to see modules with available spots, choose 'Only with places available '.
Choose a module using the arrow.
You may see a message stating that the module is not part of your regular program. That’s correct, because you are enrolling for an elective module. Choose 'Yes'."
Then select the instructional mode. This will probably be either ‘Education’ or ‘Course’.
Below the instructional mode you can see that the exam(s) have already been selected. On the right hand side you can see a summary. If it’s correct please click on the red arrow in the middle at the bottom of your screen.
If you have the right to use provisions/facilities during exams there will be an extra step where you can select the provisions you would like to use per exam. When you've selected the provisions you would like to use click on the red arrow in the middle at the bottom of your screen.
Make sure you confirm your enrolment.
After which you will see a confirmation at the bottom of your screen.
Overview of Enrolments
To either double check if the enrolment was successful or to see what else you are enrolled for, you can find an overview of these enrolments in Osiris.
Go back to the ‘Enrol’ menu.
Click on 'Show my Enrolments'
